PAP “12 rue de la Gare” in Remich

Urban Planning and Land Use Planning

The project involves the conversion of a building complex located on Rue de la Gare in Remich, comprising a main building for long-term stays with commercial or professional space, and two outbuildings arranged around an inner courtyard accessible from the street.

The project is part of the dense and historic urban fabric of Remich, characterised by terraced buildings with façades close to the street, generally on three levels with convertible attic space, and traditional gabled or mansard roofs.

The project involves the construction of six dwellings: four in the street-facing part (one per floor) and two in the rear part.

The main objective is to create new dwellings and commercial spaces while respecting the heritage character of the area. The redevelopment and renovation minimise demolition, preserve the street space, reduce the visual impact of parking by placing it at the rear and limit earthworks. The project thus brings a new dynamic to the site while enhancing the historic centre of Remich.
