Redevelopment of “Place de la Résistance”

The redevelopment of Place de la Résistance, along with the adjacent Rue de l’École and Rue du Centre, completely rethought the use of the space, creating a shared space that allows different users to coexist safely.

Amenities have been incorporated to enhance comfort and accessibility: public toilets integrated into the bus stop structure, bicycle parking, a pétanque court, plantings in movable planters that allow the space to be adapted as needed, and accessibility improvements to the church for people with reduced mobility. The square is also equipped with a digital information panel, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a defibrillator. The Resistance monument has been highlighted.

From a technical standpoint, existing infrastructures (pipelines, electrical networks, etc.) have been renewed, and street lighting has been redesigned with an intelligent management system.
