New Administrative Building Allegra

LSC360 successfully carried out the structural studies for a new administrative building designed using the CREE System: a hybrid timber-concrete modular construction.

Key features

  • 11,600 m² of floor area

  • Administrative building with hybrid timber-concrete floors, timber columns, steel columns and beams, rigid central core, and reinforced concrete basement

  • First application in Luxembourg of the CREE system developed by the Austrian Rhomberg Group

  • 3 basement levels with Berlin walls up to 11 m high

  • Strict construction phasing: installation of all CREE modular elements only after completion of the concrete core (8 days per floor)

  • Preliminary design studies: sizing of load-bearing elements and inventory of loads

  • Preliminary sizing of timber bracing stability panels

  • Execution plans (formwork and reinforcement)
