Mixed-Use Building “Manhattan”
As part of the renovation project of the former industrial site in Belval, the Manhattan residence was built. Located in the heart of Belval, the residence was erected around the old sintering basins to create the new “Square Mile” district.
With its 3 basements and 6 floors, the Manhattan residence is a versatile building that includes both public spaces and residential units.
On the ground floor, there are shops leading directly to the surrounding streets. Offices are located on the first floor, while the apartments are on the upper floors.
The three basements provide parking space for 132 vehicles, as well as the building’s cellars and technical rooms. The upper floors house 57 apartments.
On the ground floor and first floor, the main structure of the building consists of concrete columns. The aim is to have large spaces for shops and flexible partitioning to facilitate their marketing.
