Former Thillebierg nursing home

The former Thillebierg nursing home is located on the site of the former Cistercian abbey “Fontaine Marie”, founded in 1235. The site was purchased in 1929 by the municipality to become a hospital and then a care centre. The buildings are listed in the Ministry of Culture’s supplementary inventory of national monuments.

Today, the care centre is managed by Servior and undergoes regular renovation work to mitigate the disadvantages associated with old building standards.
