Connex Building Avenue de la Gare

Located at 29-31 Avenue de la Gare in Luxembourg City, this highly technical project includes the demolition of existing buildings to clear the site for new mixed-use programs, while preserving the historic façade to be restored.

This mission was carried out in collaboration with the architect from the Service of Sites and National Monuments. This major demolition phase required securing all neighboring residences.

The teams stabilized 370 m² of façade and braced the two adjoining gables over a surface of 880 m². The existing buildings were demolished and 28 tie rods were installed beneath the façade to be preserved.

The project consists of two basement levels and seven above-ground floors. It includes 2,300 m² of office space and 876 m² of retail space.
