Tram – Section K2 “Pafendall – Langfuur – Luxexpo”

The K2 line, scheduled to be commissioned in 2027, will be implemented in two phases. The first phase, consisting of a double-track section, extends over 2.3 km and includes three new stations. It branches off from the existing line near the Rout Bréck-Pafendall station to reach the future mixed-use district “Laangfur”.

The integration of the tramway along this section requires a complete redesign of the public space, from façade to façade. In a second phase, the tramway will connect the future Kuebebierg district before reaching the “Luxexpo” interchange hub via Boulevard Pierre Frieden.
