Dust Extraction System
After dismantling the dust extraction system from its former plant in Florange (France) piece by piece, ArcelorMittal will reassemble it at the ArcelorMittal Long Products Luxembourg site in Differdange.
Connected to industrial extraction hoods positioned as close as possible to the most emission-intensive processes, the system will capture the maximum amount of dust at the source. It will be capable of extracting 1,200,000 m³ of air per hour and is expected to reduce diffuse dust emissions by up to 80%.
This unusual relocation required the execution of structural and civil engineering works to accommodate the installation at the Differdange site.
