Construction of a new drinking water reservoir with three stainless steel tanks, totaling 870 m³, housed in a timber hall.
This reservoir replaces the old one in the municipality of Heffingen, which no longer met current standards and had insufficient storage capacity. The new reservoir supplies the village of Heffingen by gravity and the village of Reuland via a hydrophore system. The hall consists of a basement with a valve chamber and reinforced concrete foundation, topped with a timber structure, enclosed with insulated sandwich panels and wooden cladding. The stainless steel tanks, equipped with integrated cleaning systems, were welded on site.
Stainless steel piping and the hydrophore ensuring pressure supply to the village of Reuland are installed inside the reservoir. The system is connected to the municipality’s remote monitoring system for 24/7 surveillance.
