Redevelopment of “Rue Belair” and “Rue Pasteur”

Road construction & various networks

The City of Differdange undertakes annual redevelopment and refurbishment of several streets. In 2021, the main works focused on Rue Pasteur and Rue Belair.

Dry networks as well as water and gas pipelines were completely renewed. The combined and stormwater drainage systems were entirely redesigned. Roadways and sidewalks were upgraded and enhanced with permeable green spaces.

• Combined and stormwater drainage (WW: 585 m – SW: 80 m)

• Water pipelines (length 1,000 m) and gas pipelines (length 1,370 m)

• Dry networks: electricity, telephone, antenna, street lighting (length: 1,500 m)

• Roads with asphalt (4,000 m²), sidewalks with concrete pavers (3,260 m²), parking areas with permeable pavers (1,270 m²)
