Allegra is the new headquarters of the company CDCL, located in Leudelange in the Am Bann business park.
This innovative building is designed according to the CREE system, a hybrid construction method combining prefabricated concrete and timber elements.
The project consists of two offset volumes connected by a vertical circulation core. It includes three underground levels for parking and four above-ground levels housing offices, a multipurpose room and a fitness area. Covered terraces complete the architectural concept through a series of cantilevered elements.
The CREE system is based on a central concrete core that ensures the overall structural stability, around which factory-prefabricated timber-concrete modules are assembled. Each module, including the external cladding, insulation, internal wall and window, is transported to the site and rapidly installed using a crane. This approach allows for faster, cleaner and better-controlled construction while limiting disruptions caused by weather conditions.
In addition to its structural qualities, Allegra integrates sustainable technologies such as intelligent building management to optimise energy consumption, geothermal heat pumps for heating, and a photovoltaic installation producing approximately 27,000 kWh per year.
Certified BREEAM “Very Good” and compliant with the Nearly Zero Energy Building (nZEB) standard, the building stands out for its energy performance and environmental responsibility.
