The PAP “An der Schmëtt” in Wecker is located in the municipality of Biwer. It covers an area of 5.5 ha and plans for 164 housing units with a mix of typologies:
single-family houses, multi-family houses, and apartment buildings, resulting in a density of approximately 25 housing units per gross hectare. The transfer to the communal public domain amounts to approximately 37%, allowing for open-air stormwater retention and the renaturation of the Syre River.
In addition to services directly linked to execution, our office implemented innovative solutions to meet the expectations of the client, including:
• 3D modeling to optimally reprofile the land,
• implementation of the open-air sanitation concept as defined in the PAP,
• optimization of lighting to reduce light pollution,
• geotechnical assistance for lime treatment of site excavated material to prepare private land for direct construction.
Through this project, our team was able to demonstrate its ability to:
• understand the requirements and expectations of the client in terms of planning and execution,
• work in close collaboration with the various stakeholders involved in a complex and large-scale project.
