Landscaping of the “Bei der Eil” car park

The new car park, measuring 33 x 38.5 m, is located on existing municipal land. The classic and efficient layout of the two-level car park provides 184 parking spaces on nine half-levels between two stairwells, one with and one without a lift. The metal slatted façade provides the natural ventilation essential for safety on the different levels. The distinctive colours of the aluminium L-profiles contribute to the pleasant urban integration into the green landscape of the neighbouring park.

Before the structural work could begin, it was necessary to divert the existing pipes and conduits. Once the car park was built, it was connected to the various networks on the site. The AGE also requested the creation of a retention basin at the rear for rainwater management.

As for the exterior landscaping, the footpaths were paved with 30×30 cm slabs, while the access road was paved with asphalt. The existing bus stop at the front was enlarged and brought up to current PRM standards, with the addition of appropriate lighting, high kerbs and a path with tactile paving.
